February 28 - Fantasy Man
"Fantasy Man" I paint characters sometimes, and some times those characters are similar to the fantasies I carried around as a young woman. Who among us hasn't had some inner perception of the embodiment of strength, resourcefulness, and mystery? Today I created one of those fellows, and I have to smile at those memories of a "few" years ago! Back in those days, I read a fictional novel, "Many Rivers to Cross" and the hero in that western romance (Bushrod Gentry) came to life as a 6 x 4 acrylic on canvas, today under my brushes.
