Good ideas, like dirty laundry, tend to pile up. Unless dealt with, moved forward on, or generally attended to, they will just sit there.
I haven't had TIME this week to do a daily painting. Why? Yes, laundry, but also a book cover project, another job from Walter Foster Publishing, due on October 11, and also a trip to paint the aspens in Arizona.
A daily painting: I WILL DO THIS.
Stay tuned.
One painting a day since October 12, 2005, lessons and Elin's Color System. The writings behind the creation of each daily painting by this well-known oil and acrylic painter with three books out by Walter Foster Publishing and instructional DVDs on painting and color. Studio pieces and smaller works for collectors and friends, too.

So it begins
An idea, once planted like a seed, germinates. I am doing a blog to record the progress of daily paintings, the challenge of doing at least one painting a day, in a smaller format, for all of my collectors and many others who have expressed interest in affordable original art.
So the journey begins.
So the journey begins.
