November 6 - Nopales, Sliced (SOLD)


"Nopales, Sliced" this is the time of year when certain cactus plants produce their fruit, called nopales. The red interior of these desert plants is an incredible color, rich and succulent. Original oil on canvas with painted edges (no framing needed) 5 x 7 inches.

"My Two Horses" I painted this acrylic 5 x 7 looking out my window into the pasture across and below the stucio, where my two horses live during the day. the black is a Peruvian Paso, my riding horse, and the paint is a long yearling Missouri Foxtrotter--"future" riding horse!

November 3 - Between Ventura and Santa Barbara, on the 101 Freeway


I have driven this freeway many, many times in my life, at all times of day. There is this stretch of freeway after the beaches of Ventura, where the oil piers go out into the ocean, and an island with more oil rigs on it. I have snorkeled there back when the snorkeling was good, and surfed all along this area. Memories...
